ITINERARY

DAY 1 Arrive Bangkok

Met on arrival and transferred to your hotel.

Hotel: 4*+ Muse Bangkok Langsuan or similar (3 nights)

DAY 2 Bangkok          B

This morning, enjoy a relaxing cruise on a long-tailed boat through the canals of Bangkok to see simple family homes. Stop at the Temple of Dawn, one of the landmarks in Bangkok. Head off to the Grand Palace and the Emerald Buddha, the most sacred Buddhist image in Thailand.

Keep your sportive fighting spirit alive by attending a Thai boxing match with ringside seats at Rajadamnern or Lumpinee. The best fighters from all across Thailand come here together to fight with one another. A fighter can win either by points that are scored by the judges, or by knock-out. Be impressed by the unique atmosphere of the traditional music filling up the stadium, the cheering, passionate local crowds and the dedication of the fighters to win the match

DAY 3 Bangkok – Ayutthaya – Bangkok       BL

Visit the glorious ruins of this Ancient Capital of Ayuthaya, situated 90 kms north of Bangkok. Also visit the “Bang-pa-in” Summer Palace of King Rama IV with its charming mixture of Thai, Chinese and gothic architecture. International buffet lunch on board (one way by road and return by shared boat)

End the day with a relaxing 60-minute massage.

DAY 4 Bangkok – Chiang Mai            BD

Fly to Chiang Mai, met on arrival and transfer to your hotel. Tonight, you will be treated to a cultural show and a ceremonial northern Thai Dinner, known as Kantoke.

DAY 5 Chiang Mai     BL

Get closer and personal with an elephant and learn some of the care and skills needed to handle an elephant. There will be time spent bathing the elephant at a waterfall/stream and riding bareback dressed in Karen ethnic type clothes as the mahouts typically wear. A picnic lunch will be served at a waterfall.

DAY 6 Chiang Mai     BL

Transfer to Cooking@home Culinary School for a cooking course. Learn to prepare 4 dishes and taste your own prepared dishes. Course includes an introduction to Thai herbs and spices, cooking instructions and a recipe book.

DAY 7 Chiang Mai     B

Drive up Doi Suthep mountain to visit the most sacred temple, Wat Phra That Doi Suthep the landmark of Chiang mai. Then, transfer onto a local pick-up to visit a nearby Meo Hilltribe village.

DAY 8 Chiang Mai Departure           B

Transfer to the airport or continue your honeymoon in one of Thailand’s popular beaches.
