ITINERARY
DAY 1 Arrive Beijing
Met on arrival and transferred to your hotel.
Hotel: 4★ + Capital Hotel Beijing or similar (3 nights)
DAY 2 Beijing B, L
Today’s tour highlights include visits to the Forbidden City; Tiananmen Square, heart of People’s Republic of China; Head off to the Summer Palace, a former retreat for the Imperial family.
DAY 3 Beijing B, L, SD
Drive to the Great Wall at Badaling. Visit Badaling Great Wall followed by lunch at Friendship Restaurant. Continue your visit to Sacred Way and Ming Tombs-Changling Tomb. Tonight, celebrate the city’s culinary delights with an authentic Peking Duck Dinner.
DAY 4 Beijing – Xi’an B, L
This morning, enjoy a walk through the parklands at the Temple of Heaven followed by a visit to Lama Temple. Enjoy Beijing Noodle Lunch at local restaurant. Fly to Xian.

DAY 5 Xian B, L, SD
Morning sightseeing in Xian includes visits to Qin Shi Huang Di Tomb, with its Army of Terra-Cotta Soldiers & Bronze Chariots and Ceramic and Art Workshop. Watch a noodle-making demonstration followed by lunch and a visit to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Ancient City Wall. Tonight, savour a delicious dinner and enjoy a Tang Dynasty Cultural Show.
DAY 6 Xian – Guilin B
Fly to Guilin. Arrive in Guilin, visit Reed Fleet Cave with its amazing limestone formations and Elephant Trunk Hill.

Day 7 Guilin – Yangshuo – Guilin B,L
Enjoy a cruise down the Li River, passing through one of China’s most famous landscapes. Disembark at Yangshuo with time at leisure to explore market at West Street. Explore the rural life at local villages and local farmer’s house. Late afternoon, transfer back to Guilin for overnight.
DAY 8 Guilin – Shanghai B
Fly to Shanghai. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel and balance of the day is at leisure.

DAY 9 Shanghai B, L
Full-day sightseeing includes visits to the People’s Park, Urban Planning Museum, and Yu Garden, a beautiful garden dating back to 16th century Ming Dynasty. Afternoon visits include Shanghai Museum with over 120,000 pieces of ancient artwork and The Bund. Your day concludes with a spectacular acrobatic show (optional).
DAY 10 Shanghai – Suzhou – Shanghai B, L
Enjoy a day’s excursion to Suzhou on a high-speed train. Visit the Garden of Fish Net Master, Old Town, Silk Spinning Factory and a cruise on the ancient Grand Canal.
DAY 11 Shanghai Departure B
Transfer to the airport.
