ITINERARY

DAY 1: Tokyo arrival

One-way private transfer from Haneda/Narita airport to hotel.

Overnight at hotel in Tokyo for 4 nights.

Hotel: 4* Mitsui Garden Hotel Kyobashi or Hotel Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku or similar

DAY 2: One day Mt. Fuji & Hakone Tour    (L)

Morning departs from Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo in Shinjuku/ Tokyo station area

The bus will head up the World Heritage Mt. Fuji 5th Station along the Subaru Line. The 5th Station is situated at 2,300 meters (7,546 feet) above sea level. At this height, you will be amazed at spectacular, breathtaking views from above the clouds. *If the Fuji Subaru Line is closed, or if there is inclement weather and the company has determined that views may not be seen from Mt. Fuji 4th Station and 5th Station, the tour will be guided to an alternative facility.

Enjoy a Japanese-style meal (with tea/coffee). During the meal, there will be a wadaiko (Japanese drum) performance, one of Japan’s traditional arts performed by the Social Welfare Corporation Fugakukai. Enjoy a spectacular performance featuring powerful tones and rhythms rich in emotion.

*Aside from a Japanese-style meal, available menus include a vegetarian meal, Muslim-friendly meal, and Indian thali meal. Please make a request when booking.

At Lake Ashi in Hakone, customers can ride a cruise ship. Spend a relaxing time while gazing at the beautiful lake and Mt. Fuji.

Take a ride up the Komagatake Ropeway which just reopened at the end of April 2025 and enjoy the scenery of Lake Ashi in the Hakone National Park spreading out below. The spiritual Hakone Shrine Mototsumiya (original shrine) nestled at the Komagatake mountaintop is also a popular spot said to be flowing with mystical energy.

Around 20:30, this tour ends upon arrival near Shinjuku Station West Exit. *Please head to your next destination on your own from Shinjuku.

DAY 3: One day Tokyo Tour by Hato bus   (L)

Imperial Palace Plaza (Stroll)

Odaiba (free time for sightseeing). With plenty of popular sightseeing spots and large shopping facilities, this area has a lot to offer everyone, from kids to adults. The Odaiba Statue of Liberty (replica), which commemorates the friendship between Japan and France, can be seen standing by the Rainbow Bridge.

Senso-ji Temple & Nakamise Shopping Street (free time for sightseeing). Senso-ji, Tokyo’s oldest temple, offers plenty to see including the bright red Kaminarimon Gate, a statue of the god of thunder, and a five-story pagoda. The bustling street known as “Nakamise” stretches for about 250 m from Kaminarimon Gate to Senso-ji Temple and is filled with a plethora of shops.

DAY 4: Free at leisure on your own in Tokyo.

DAY 5: Hotel check-out

One-way train ticket from Tokyo to Kyoto (based 2nd class seat).

Overnight at hotel in Kyoto for 4 nights.

DAY 6:One day Kyoto & Nara Tour (L)

Nijo Castle

Kinkaku-ji Temple

Kyoto Imperial Palace. It was used as the Emperor’s residence until about 150 years ago. On days when the Kyoto Imperial Palace is closed to visitors, the tour will visit Kitano Tenmangu Shrine (disembark for sightseeing) as an alternative destination. This shrine is famous for the god of learning, and its main hall is a designated national treasure. The shrine is especially great to see during the plum blossom and autumn leaf seasons.

Around 18:30, this tour ends in Kyoto Station. Please head to your next destination on your own.

DAY 7: Half day Kyoto Sagano Bamboo Grove & Arashiyama Morning Walking Tour

Morning departs from Kyoto station area to SagaArashiyama Station (JR Rapid/Local, non-reserved seating)

From SagaArashiyama Station to Jojakko-ji Temple

From Jojakko-ji Temple, the tour will be heading to Tenryu-ji Temple while strolling along the Sagano Bamboo Grove.

Head to SagaArashiyama Station for the train back Kyoto. (JR Rapid/Local, non-reserved seating).

Around 13:30, this tour ends at Kyoto Station. Please head to your next destination on your own after the tour.

DAY 8: Free at leisure on your own in Kyoto

DAY 9: Hotel check-out.

One-way train from Kyoto to Tokyo (based 2nd class seat).

Overnight at hotel in Tokyo for 1 night.

DAY 10: Hotel check out.
