DAY 2 Beijing                     B, L, SD

Your morning tour highlights include Tiananmen Square, the largest public square in the world and Forbidden City, an ancient residence of emperors containing more than 9000 rooms. Explore the Hutong district on a rickshaw ride through the ancient alleyways. This evening, feast on a traditional Peking Duck Dinner.

DAY 3  Beijing                B, SL

Excursion to the less visited Great Wall at Mutianyu with a cable car ride to the wall; A special lunch at Home of The Great Wall on midway of the hill. Return to city and take photo stop at Bird’s Nest and Water Cube.

DAY4 Beijing                B, SL, D

Today’s tour highlights include visits to Summer Palace, a former retreat for the Imperial family followed by a boat ride on Kunming Lake (weather permitting); an Imperial Lunch will be arranged at the Baijiadayuan. This afternoon, visit the Temple of Heaven, where the emperors worshipped their God for good harvests and a leisure walk through Liulichang, Beijing’s cultural street.

DAY 5 Beijing  Xian        B, L, SD

Fly to Xian. Visit the Provincial History Museum where over 113,000 historical and cultural artifacts are housed. Conclude your day with a Tang Dynasty cultural performance and a dinner at the Tang Palace.

DAY 7 Xian  Kunming       B, L

Fly to Kunming, known as the city of Eternal Spring. Visit the Western Hill for great views of Dianchi Lake & Kunming City with cable car ride (If time permits). Take a guided walking tour through the local flower market.

DAY 9 Dali – Lijiang          B, L

Drive to Lijang, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and stop en route at the unique Bai ethnic houses in Xizhou Town. Continue to Lijiang for a guided walking tour around The Ancient Town known as Dayan Town.

DAY 10 Lijiang                     B, L

Your full day tour includes a cable car ride up to the snow-capped Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Visit the Baisha Mural Paintings, the scenic Black Dragon Pool Park and the Museum of Naxi Dongba Culture inside the park. Optional: Impressions of Lijiang Show.

DAY 12 Zhongdian – Baishuitai – Zhongdian                  B, L, D

This morning, drive 103 kms to White Water Terraces (Baishuitai), birthplace of the Dongba culture of the Naxi minority group. The terrace, located at foothill of Baha Snow Mountain is covered with white layer of calcium built as a result of the calcium carbonate crystallized in the spring water. Visit the nearby Baidi Village and discover the folklore and culture of the Naxi minority group.

DAY 14 Kunming  Guilin                          B, L

This morning drive to the Stone Forest (approx. 85 km), a natural wonder known as the “World Karst Landscape Museum”. After your tour, fly to Guilin.

DAY 16 Yangshuo – Longsheng vGuilin               B, L

Drive to Longsheng and visit Longji Rice Terraces, with an area of 66 km winding their way from the riverside up to the top of the mountain. The terraces were constructed in the Yuan Dynasty and completed in early Qing Dynasty. You will have a chance to meet some of the ethnic minority people. Return to Guilin for overnight stay.
