Day 1  Arrive Tokyo (Narita/Henada Airport)  

Upon arrival, meet English speaking assistant and board an airport limousine coach or train. Transfer to your hotel/station near hotel on your own.

Day 2  Tokyo                            B  

Enjoy a morning tour highlights visits to Meiji Shrine, Japan’s famous Shinto Shrine and Imperial Palace East Garden. Browse through the many stores lining Nakamise-dori walkway leading up to Asakusa Kannon Temple, Tokyo’s oldest and most famous Buddhist temple. Tour disbands at Tokyo Station. Afternoon free at leisure.

Day 4  Tokyo > Takayama                                   B,D

Your main luggage will be transferred from Tokyo to Kyoto.
Make your own way to Tokyo Station. Board your bullet train for Nagoya and transfer to JR limited express train for Takayama. Upon arrival, transfer to your accommodation on your own.

Day 5    Takayama > Shirakawago                  B,D

Free for browsing the famous “Asaichi” morning market in Takayama and the streets of Kami Sannomachi, with preserved traditional Japanese wooden houses. Enjoy a scenic drive to Shirakawago, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its gassho-zukuri house surrounded by mountains and rice-fields.

Day 6  Shirakawago > Kanazawa                       B

Free for visiting the Former Wada Family Residence, with steep thatched roofs and Gassho-zukuri Town. Make your own way to Nohi Bus Stop, transfer to Kanazawa by Nohi Bus. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel on your own.

Day 7    Kanazawa > Kyoto > Nara > Kyoto           B

Morning free for browsing Kanazawa include visits to the Nagamachi Samurai District, former Samurai Residence; Kenrokuen Garden, known as one of the three best gardens in Japan, Higashi-chaya District and Hakuza (gold leaf shop). Take a limited express train to Kyoto. Upon arrival Kyoto Station, meet by tour assistant and start the Nara Afternoon Tour on Foot. Visiting Todai-ji Temple with Great Buddha, Nara Deer Park & Kofuku-ji Temple. Tour disbands at Kyoto Station.

Kyoto Full day Seat-in Tour by visiting Kiyomizu Temple, Sanju-san-gen-do Temple, Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine, Arashiyama (Bamboo forest), Tenryu-ji Temple, Kinkaku-ji Temple (Golden Pavilion). Tour disbands at Kyoto Station.

Day 10  Kyoto > Mt. Koya         B, D

Your main luggage will be transferred from Kyoto to Osaka.
You will be escorted to Shin-Imamiya Station by train, then take express train to Gokurakubashi Station and transfer to Mt. Koya Station by cable car on your own. Afternoon free at leisure.

Hotel : Henjokoin (without bath/with toilet) (1 night)

Day 11  Mt. Koya > Osaka                               B

Make your own way to Mt. Koya Station. Transfer to Osaka Station via Gokurakubashi Station by cable car and local train on your own. Upon arrive Osaka Station, transfer to hotel on your own.

Make your own way to Kansai Airport Bus stop. Transfer to Kansai International Airport (KIX) by airport limousine bus on your own.
