DAY 1 Arrive Chengdu
Arrive in Chengdu, home of the lovable giant pandas.
Hotel: 4★+Fraser Suites Chengdu (2 nights)
DAY 2 Chengdu B, L
Today’s tour highlights a visit to the Chengdu Panda Breeding Centre, a breeding facility for giant pandas; the People’s Park and Chengdu’s historical Street Kuanzhaixiangzi (Wide & Narrow Alleys), consisting of 45 quadrangles built in the Qing Dynasty. Tonight, enjoy a hot pot dinner and Magical face-changing performance at the Sichuan Opera (optional).
Day 3 Chengdu > Mt. Leshan > Mt. Qingchen B,L,D
Enjoy a full-day excursion to visit the Giant Buddha in Leshan, a 71-metre tall stone statue carved into a cliff which was built between 713 and 803. See the impressive Buddha from the river on a boat ride..

Day 4 Mt. Qingcheng Mountain > Wolong > Mt. Qingcheng B,L,D
Drive to the newly constructed Shenshuping Panda Center at Wolong Natural Preserve (approx.1.5 hrs).
Get an in-depth experience with the pandas through the “Giant Panda Volunteering Program”. Learn how to prepare the food for the pandas, clean the enclosures, and possibly have a chance to feed the pandas, etc. Return to Mt. Qingcheng visit the Dujiangyan Irrigation System, and UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Day 5 Mt. Qingcheng > Chengdu > Lhasa B, D
Fly to Lhasa, the Land of the Gods. At leisure to acclimatize to the high altitude.

Day 6-7 Lhasa B,L,D
Spend 2 days sightseeing in Lhasa. Tour highlights include Potala Palace, residence of Dalai Lama built in the 7th century and symbol of Tibet. Norbuglinkha, the summer palace of Dalai Lama, Jokhang (Dazao) Monastery (House of the Lord), the most important temple in Tibet, Barkhor Street for some souvenir shopping, Drepung Monastery, residence of 3rd-5th Dalai Lama and Sera Monastery.
Enjoy a Tibetan Cultural Show with dinner on your last night in Lhasa.
Day 8 Lhasa Xining B
Take an overnight train to Xining.
Day 9 Arrive Xining Departure L
Arrive Xining and proceed to a city tour wit visit to the Dongguan Mosque, Provincial Museum and the Tibetan Medicine Museum. After lunch, transfer to Xining Airport for your departure flight.
